There are long delays on trains home to Essex after an earlier fire alert at Liverpool Street. Smoke was reported coming from the public toilets. While the London Fire Brigade attended, all lines were blocked in and out of the station. Explosions in Essex could be heard for rest of week

Explosions that were noticed all over Essex and made houses shake could be heard for the rest of the week.
The bangs,
which came from the Ministry of Defence base in Shoeburyness and heard from Basildon to Maldon, were initially thought to be sonic booms.

The crash that took place on the A12 between Kelvedon and Colchester this morning involved nine vehicles and resulted in two people being taken to hospital.

Watch out for the International Space Station travelling across...

STARGAZERS will be able to catch a glimpse of the International Space Station as it speeds across
Essex's skies for the next two weeks.

NASA has announced it will be appearing above our heads within a 50 mile radius of
Chelmsford for up to four minutes on various nights until Thursday 21.
