Overturned lorry causes A130 rush hour closure
Police are currently at the scene of an overturned lorry on the A130 at the junction with the A127 in Basildon.Police were contacted shortly after 10.30am today.The incident has caused travel disruption and motorists are advised that the road is closed southbound between Rettendon and Basildon.A diversion is in place via the A1245. The road is likely to remain closed throughout rush hour.

From Harry potter events to splashing through puddles at Danbury Park, there are plenty of activities for families to enjoy in Essex this February half-term. A distraught Essex shopper has begged thieves to return sentimental photos of his partner, who died of cancer just four weeks ago.
Phil Shipp, from Upminster, had his wallet swiped from his pocket at Lakeside Tesco at 11.30am yesterday (Thursday, February 12).
The Sainsbury's worker is desperate for his photos to be given back to him and took to social media in a bid to be reunited with them.
He wrote on Facebook: "To the lovely people that stole my wallet today at Lakeside Tesco...

Essex County Council has released an animated to film to show drivers the work that they carry out in maintaining the county's highways and transportation networks.
