Met Office warns snow and ice could blight Essex this week

The Met Office has warned that snow may hit the south east of England this week.Although heavier in the North, the warning states that southeastern parts of England will be affected from Monday.The showers in Essex will generally be a mix of sleet and hail near the coasts but accumulations of 0-2 cm of snow may occur in places at low levels.Ice will be an additional hazard overnight, particularly after showers so drivers are asked to be aware of difficult travelling conditions.Not everywhere...
