Essex pensioner pedestrian, 89, hit by car

Police are appealing for information following a road traffic collision on Connaught Avenue, Frinton, which happened at about 7.10pm on Saturday, November 21.A grey VW Polo and an 89-year-old woman pedestrian were in collision near to the junction with Forth Avenue. The pedestrian was treated for leg and facial injuries by paramedics at the scene before being conveyed to hospital. She continues to receive hospital treatment.
