Dating back almost 100 years, the poppy was first worn in remembrance by an American teacher, Moina Michael, who came up with the idea in 1918, having been inspired by the poppy imagery in John McCrae's poem In Flanders Field.By 1921, poppies were being sold to commemorate the fallen and proceeds have since been used to support wounded soldiers and their families.But how should you wear one?
